The most experienced health and safety receiver

In 1999, I innovated the health and safety receivership remedy for nuisance properties and established California Receivership Group. Over the past two decades, CRG has become the leading choice to rehabilitate problem properties through receivership in California, appointed on over 330 projects ranging from homes to hotels, apartment buildings, and commercial properties. CRG is uniquely positioned to deal with dilapidated properties because we employ a diverse team of professionals with expertise in receivership law, real estate, public safety, operations, and construction. We also have an extensive network of contractors across California.

Each receivership property should pay its own costs of repair

Cleaning up dilapidated properties does not have to be a municipal or county expense. A blighted property has an impact that extends beyond its borders; effecting neighboring property values, community health, and increasing crime. When valuable government resources are diverted to make repairs to private properties the negative impact on those that live around that property is doubled. California law provides a solution since the petitioning municipality, county, or fire protection district can recover its fees incurred in code enforcement and the work to establish a receivership from the property value, meaning that the net cost for nuisance remediation to the community can be $0.

I can’t tell you enough how grateful we are, it’s been such a breath of fresh air ever since the property has been vacated. Our quality of life has improved, and we hope that it continues that way.
